Buying a house in upstate NY? Long, but please read and help! ADULTS please!?

That house is what is known as a knock down. You will not be able to get a mortgage or a certificate of occupancy for a house with no furnace. If by some chance you got a loan for it plan on at least another 2-3000 for closing costs. Then where would you live while all this work is getting done and how will you pay for the repairs?
