How to drill into a wall?

ok..there is drywall..it needs to be attached to something other than concrete..there should be wood 2x4's..i believe you are trying to drill into wood with a masonry bit..just not going to happen..and yes it will get hot and possibly burn the wood if you are not careful..so get a wood bit and drill...
