How can I best plan do it yourself replacement of cabinet doors & drawer fronts?

Take very detailed pictures and measurements of each door and front , then take a trip to the nearest cabinet maker and show them what you have. In Southern Arizona, I would plan a long weekend in either Tucson or Phoenix, get the info from cabinet maker, do a little or a lot of shopping, and just generally have some fun. I have lived and worked in rural Arizona, probably not too far from wherever you live, pretty boring out there, use this as an excuse for a fun weekend.
